The web-based graphical FCI configuration interface for Funkwerk Enterprise Communications products makes it possible to access the device independently from the operating system and has been designed for use by novice as well as more experienced users.
The multilingual, context-sensitive online help function makes it easy to configure a wide range of different application scenarios.

Thanks to the expanded functionalities of configuration management and monitoring, system servicing and diagnosis are now easier than ever before, making it quick and easy to implement even complex applications.

The Funkwerk Configuration Interface is characterized by clearly structured subsystems, such as the firewall and VPN, to make it possible for even less experienced users to efficiently configure their applications to obtain optimal results. Time-controlled processes can be set up very easily to increase productivity and security, i.e. to update firmware overnight or switch off the wireless LAN interfaces outside of business hours.

In the near future, FCI will also be available for wireless LAN and ITC systems to make it the basis for the uniform operation of all Funkwerk Enterprise Communications products in the future.

This will start off with the bintec R2xx series products, which will include the FCI from software release 7.4.4.

Needless to say, these devices can also be configured as before, using the trusted setup tool and the wizard.
