elmeg ICT - Voice applications: Professional ease for your system
With the integrated voice applications of the elmeg ICT series, included already in the basic models, professional voice applications are available at once with the elmeg ICT series and do not have to be upgraded later with a considerable time and cost investment, as is the case for comparable systems from elmeg's competitors. Users have praised again and again the particular flexibility and practical use that makes elmeg products so unique.
An abundance of all imaginable applications are available for use of top-quality voice applications that are oriented toward user convenience:
Music on hold (MoH, Music on Hold): The elmeg ICT systems offer music on hold that can be customized for each connected terminal device. In addition to the two music on hold melodies stored in the system at the factory, the PABX systems also offer the option of importing any desired sound file in WAV format.
The CD supplied with the system contains examples of different music on hold melodies. Of course, you can also generate and use your own WAV files. Specialized service providers* also offer license-free or GEMA-licensed music for importing.
Voice announcement before answering: The elmeg ICT88 and elmeg ICT880 ICT systems feature an integrated waiting loop field with "voice announcement before answering" and "voice announcement on busy". Up to eight (8) calls can be kept in the waiting loop (queue) at the same time. The system can even play different announcements depending on the directly dialed number. After a definable time, the unanswered call is routed to a central telephone.
Wake-up announcements: Hotels or bed-and-breakfast businesses can use the elmeg ICT for customized calls with different wake-up messages, for example in different languages) placed at different times and managed centrally by the hotel staff, or programmed by the guests themselves using the corresponding terminal device.
Information texts: Office and companies with a high service volume and the desire to offer specialized customer services can set the systems to activate special messages at special times, e.g. during the lunch break or after hours. These announcements can refer to office hours, contact information or other content.
Event-controlled announcement texts: Water in the basement? Heating system malfunctioning? Your ITC system will inform you automatically with a voice alarm sent to the mobile phone of the janitor or caretaker, for example. The alarm input of the ITC system (analog ports, or via module contacts) can be connected easily with various technical systems or devices (as change-over, actuator or sensor). Up to 10 alarm calls can be configured and combined with individual announcements.
Continued dialing after announcement: Professional convenience for larger call centers. The elmeg ICT PABX systems can be used to offer callers of a special direct number (combinable with 0800 or similar services, of course) with a welcome message with options such as the following:. "Press 5 to contact our sales department". "Press 8 to contact the service department.", and so on. If the caller does not hang up, he or she is connected with a special direct number or the central office.
Interactive customer information system: You can offer your callers up to 10 different announcements around the clock with direct dialing, for example, by combining the function "Continued dialing after announcement" with multiple announcements, or voice boxes of the elmeg CS410** (e.g. last-minute offers of a travel agency). Every announcement or mailbox can be enabled separately for recording announcements and messages (e.g. technical customer service department with emergency answering machine at specific times).
