If company sites are to be networked via Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), Funkwerk Enterprise Communications (FEC) recommends to use IPsec connections with certificates. For the communication within the company, this ensures vital parameters such as confidentiality of the information transferred, authenticity of the communication partners, and integrity of the data, meaning that the data has not been tampered with. IPSec connections with certificates are safer to implement than the procedure with the so-called pre-shared keys, i.e. keys which are previously exchanged between the communications partners. The new S series completes the offer of network components.
Funkwerk Enterprise Communications GmbH (FEC), introduces a new product family with the S series: the switches complete the existing portfolio of network components. In a first step, FEC will introduce three different devices into the market. The S208 connects up to 8 network devices at high bandwidths and with minimum configuration effort.
