Extended Board of Executives – Focus on Solutions for Medium-Sized Companies

On January 11, 2010, Hans-Peter Mistele (aged 53) became the new member of the management board of FEC and is now responsible for the sales and marketing sectors as Chief Sales Officer (CSO). In the context of implementing the new company strategy initiated in 2009, Hans-Peter Mistele will focus on the aim to lead FEC into the future as an innovative vendor of integrated communication solutions for freelancers and medium-sized companies. Special attention will be paid on solutions for subsidiary and campus networking.
Moreover, the experienced sales manager will set a distinctive focus on the extension of the board of partners and the upgrading of the existing partner program. By doing so, Hans-Peter Mistele intends to ensure the successful processing of the market together with specialized partner dealers and system integrators in a persistent way.
“Thanks to my long-term experience in leading positions in direct and indirect sales and on the marketing sector, I know the particular demands of the distribution of solutions on the ICT sector, made by both manufacturers and system integrators, resellers, and end customers,” explains Hans-Peter Mistele. “As a new member of the management board, I am looking forward to helping promote the strategic orientation of FEC in all business fields.”
Strategically- and operations-oriented manager Hans-Peter Mistele stands for a high expertise in solutions and looks back on more than 20 years of experience in sales activities and leading functions on the IT sector. In the past, he successfully implemented sales strategies in leading companies, such as Pan Dacom Networking AG and the leading European IT service provider EDS Global Field Service.

New Director Marketing Communications

In January 2010, Danny Ullrich (aged 32) took over responsibility for the marketing communications sector of FEC. His activities will focus on the further strengthening of the national and international market positions and on further increasing the high profile of the company as an experienced vendor of integrated communication solutions.
“It is my aim to further increase the reputation of the brand Funkwerk in its core competence fields voice, data, and security by means of targeted measures. In this context, I consider purposeful press relations and the intensive support of the channel partners to be critical success factors, which I will have to address together with my team of competent and qualified colleagues," describes Danny Ullrich his future challenges.
After his studies in Economics and Social Science, he worked for more than eight years on the industrial and IT sector. In the course of his career, he was − among other positions − employed several years by the network supplier Allied Telesis, where he successfully worked in the field of marketing communications and finally covered the position as Manager Central Marketing Communications EMEA.
