Cette marque est à présent protégée dans toute l’UE. Cette marque était en effet détenue par Funkwerk AG depuis mai 2005. Ceci souligne le rôle de leadership de Funkwerk EC dans le domaine de la convergence voix-données et sa reconnaissance comme fournisseur de solutions complètes pour l’accès réseau et les solutions ITC. Avec le VoVPN®, Funkwerk EC propose des solutions de convergence voix-données innovantes et fortement sécurisées.

More security through VoVPN®

With VoVPN®, FEC is able to offer companies voice/data solutions which are both innovative and secure. VoVPN® technology protects professional users – also when conversing via Internet – against the attacks of unauthorised third-parties. This technology is of particular importance when networking the distributed locations of mid-sized companies, e.g. remote branch offices who use VoVPN® as a means of secure integration into company communication processes. Protection against DoS attacks

Insecure transmission of data over public networks, such as Internet, always harbours a risk of being intercepted or manipulated. This applies also to the transmission of speech. Since Internet telephony is inherently a real-time application, ample bandwidth must always be available. Conventional methods of attack, such as DoS (Denial of Service) attacks, overload the network to prevent the transmission of data at real-time rates. Numerous companies already have VPN structures which employ IP packets to ensure privacy for the transmission of their voice data. VoVPN allows these packets to be appropriately encrypted and transferred through a secure tunnel between the two VPN end points. This makes it impossible to gain unauthorised access to data or eavesdrop on conversations.
