Professional Telephone Applications from the smallest extension Level
System telephony also for small companies - with the elmeg ICT systems from Funkwerk EC
NUREMBERG. PBXs that only allow the user to telephone are a thing of the past, even for small businesses. With the ICT series from Funkwerk Enterprise Communications, law offices, practices or retailers can take advantage of telephony functionality usually only available with much larger telecommunications systems. The elmeg ITC systems open up a multitude of solutions tailored to individual needs, for example the operation of a motion detector, a hands-free entrance phone or integration in an alarm system.

If motion detectors or alarm systems register a movement, an optical and acoustic alarm is sent to an internal or external telephone number. If, for instance, a motion detector connected to an ICT unit is triggered by a person in the entrance area, this can be signalized to a preset telephone. The caller list on this telephone therefore serves as a customer counter. The alarm and sensor inputs are realized with the contact / hands-free entrance phone ICT module.

The elmeg ICT telecommunications systems also have an integrated voice application based on standard WAV files. This allows the use of professional services, such as playback of info texts, wake up messages or announcement before answering. Up to eight callers can be held in the waiting queue simultaneously and different messaged are played depending on the extension called. Following another individually settable time of the call not being taken at the PBX, the call is automatically redirected to a central telephone.

The ICT system also allows coverage of a wide operational area with wireless DECT system telephones. The elmeg DECT rfp wireless cells provide for an uninterrupted handover. When the caller switches from one wireless cell to another – for example from the office to the warehouse – they ensure an uninterrupted voice connection. With the ICT’s DECT expansion, FEC responds to customers’ growing demand for mobile solutions.

Communication for up to 50 users and VoIP
The elmeg ICT systems are available in a variety of sizes: The elmeg ICT46 is suitable for up to 20 users and therefore particularly for small companies and the self-employed. The ICT88, with up to 30 users, is interesting for medium-sized companies, but also for hotels and smaller call centers. The ICT880 is used in larger companies with approximately 50 users.

All elmeg ICT systems support features such as alternation between lines, 3-party conferences, call forwarding, call pick-up, and a central alphanumeric telephone book. Thanks to its extension options, the elmeg ICT telecommunications system can be expanded quickly and easily up to 50 users. The VoIP-VPN Gateway also allows telephony via the Internet. The elmeg ICT telecommunication systems are remotely configurable: Special settings and the installation of new firmware can be performed directly by the specialist dealer. The consistent software integration of the elmeg ICT series provides for maximum transparency and easy system configuration.

The features of the elmeg ICT series include:
