VoIP Adapters funkwerk V101 and funkwerk V102—The New Device Class of Funkwerk Enterprise Communications
The V series constitutes the bridge between analog end devices and Internet telephony.
Funkwerk Enterprise Communications GmbH (FEC),  presents the new analog telephone adapters (ATA) funkwerk V101 and funkwerk V102. The models of the V series permit the connection of analog end devices or telephones to an Ethernet LAN. This enables the customer to use VoIP (Voice over IP) services without the necessity of further hardware investment. The cost-effective telephone adapters are particularly suited for application in small-scale offices and by home office users. They are either directly connected to an ADSL modem or to a preconnected router. The ATA boxes funkwerk V101 and funkwerk V102 support the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for Internet telephony. In the business environment, the ATA boxes can be used in combination with enterprise class routers – for instance routers bintec R1200 or bintec R3000 – by simply connecting them to a free Ethernet interface. The new V series will be first available in March 2007.

funkwerk V101 for Simple VoIP Calls
funkwerk V101 is a VoIP telephone adapter which serves to connect an analog telephone set. It is connected via an ADSL modem or a LAN network to the Internet and supports the use of VoIP services offered by arbitrary SIP providers by means of SIP technology. For this purpose, a standard, analog telephone set can be connected to the funkwerk V101 adapter. In addition to the Ethernet port for the connection to the Internet, the adapter accommodates a further port for the connection of a PC or a notebook. Comprehensive features, such as an integrated PPPoE (Point-to-Point over Ethernet) client, a DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) client, a DHCP server, and a DNS (Domain Name System) client, as well as the support of static IP addresses fulfill the requirements made by private users and home office customers. funkwerk V101 can be configured without any problems via a web browser by means of the integrated web server.

funkwerk V102—Two VoIP Phone Calls Simultaneously
funkwerk V102 is a VoIP telephone adapter which serves to connect two analog telephone sets or fax devices and which can be used to make two VoIP calls simultaneously. Like his little brother, funkwerk V101, funkwerk V102 accommodates Ethernet ports for the connection to the Internet and for the connection of a PC or a notebook. The scope of features is also identical: an integrated PPPoE client, a DHCP client, a DHCP server, a DNS client, and the support of static IP addresses. funkwerk V102 can also be installed without any problems via a web browser. Both devices, thus, fulfill the requirements made by private end customers and home office customers.
