Company
FEC at the CeBIT – On the way to the Full-Line Provider for Network Technology
Funkwerk Enterprise Communications: CeBIT 2007, hall 13, booth d72
New security and communication solutions for small- and medium-sized enterprises and robust access points for industrial application: These are only some of the highlights provided by Funkwerk Enterprise Communications GmbH (FEC), a company of Funkwerk AG, at the CeBIT 2007 in Hall 13, booth d72. For the first time, the FEC LAN Switches will be displayed. With this new product family, Funkwerk Enterprise Communications round off their offer of network components.

FEC Highlights for Office Environments at the CeBIT:
Particularly small-sized enterprises and subsidiaries benefit from the Media Gateways TR200aw and TR200bw: By means of a combination of PBX, VoIP, IP access, and wireless LAN in one device, support and installation costs are decreased in small-scale offices or subsidiaries without their own system administrators.
With funkwerk UTM, the Unified Threat Management Systems, FEC offers a comprehensive IT security solution for small- and medium-sized enterprises which is ready-to-operate after a few mouse clicks. The out-of-box solution offers protection against the threat of viruses, worms, Trojan horses, spam, DoS attacks, backdoors, and many other forms of hacker attacks. All security components of the funkwerk UTM system are optimally tuned to each other.
At the CeBIT, FEC will moreover present their new WLAN Management System, which combines control and monitoring of a WLAN infrastructure via a single, homogeneous user interface. This enables the administrator to configure all access points from his workplace and to monitor them during operation.

FEC Highlights for Carriers and Providers at the CeBIT:
With the new Integrated Access Devices (IADs), Funkwerk Enterprise Communications address carriers and providers, who wish to offer their customers network access devices. The IADs funkwerk IAD104 and funkwerk IAD106 can be operated particularly easily by end customers: An installation CD or remote maintenance by the provider support users with limited technical know-how. Both devices are also offered as WLAN-capable versions.

FEC Highlights for Industrial Applications at the CeBIT:
Another important new product series to be introduced by FEC on the occasion of the CeBIT consists of the WI series. This series comprises robust devices capable of industrial application, which are designed for the setup of WLANs in particularly rugged environments or environments with special requirements on the technical equipment, such as the industry, hospitals, or public transport.

The Facility Management System webnet-gms offers facility managers the control of the technology installed in one or several buildings via a single, homogeneous user interface. The facility management system is vendor-independent and, thus, able to communicate with all standard products.
You can make appointments with the FEC Management Team for talks during the CeBIT. Please contact us: FunkwerkEC@haffapartner.de.
