Funkwerk Enterprise Communications GmbH introduces a new price model
NUREMBERG. Effective 18 October 2004, Funkwerk Enterprise Communications GmbH, a company belonging to Funkwerk AG, has reduced the prices on selected bintec brand IP access products. In addition, the devices will also now come complete with an IPSec license for five VPN tunnels. The price reduction applies to the bintec X1000 II, X1200 II, X2300/X2300i, X2300is/X2300s and VPN Access 25 products and – depending on the model – amounts to up to 40 percent of the former price. With this move, Funkwerk Enterprise Communications GmbH aims to underscore its position as a strong player on the market for secure network access solutions.

“The new price model was developed to meet the needs of smaller enterprises, home offices and branch offices in particular,” commented Thomas von Baross, Chief Sales Officer at Funkwerk Enterprise Communications GmbH. “These businesses are now in a position to implement professional IP access solutions at an attractive price. We see great potential in this market and plan to round down our portfolio of secure network access solutions as a result in the near future.”
