Senior Vice President Mobile Systems at Funkwerk Enterprise Communications GmbH

Helmut Adamski has more than 18 years of market and leadership experience in high-tech companies in the fields of wireless and network technologies and communications systems and has access to an extensive international network.

In his capacity on the management board at Funkwerk Enterprise Communications, Mr. Adamski is responsible for the Mobile Systems business unit, with a special focus on system solutions for portable personal security on the basis of DECT and GSM, as well as messaging and building management for process and building automation.

These are his ambitious goals: "We will continue to expand our position in the core market of personal security, in public as well as private domains. I plan to concentrate on profitable investments and organizational growth. The synergies with the complementary system solutions for telecommunications and Funkwerk Enterprise Communications networks will play an increasingly important role in this process," Adamski said.

Prior to this, he gathered long years of experience as a product and project manager at DEC (Digital Equipment) in the field of OEM mass-storage products in Germany as well as in the US.

As Vice President for Technology & Operations at Schneider & Koch GmbH in Ettlingen, Adamski played an integral role in setting up the OEM partnership for wireless/FDDI communications systems with IBM Europe.

From 1994 to 2001, he worked as the Managing Director of SMS GmbH to build the company into the European market leader of programming systems. Following the sale of SMS GmbH (1998) to Data I/O, an NASDAQ listed company, Adamski was appointed Vice President and General Manager and relocated to company headquarters in Redmond, Washington/USA. From 2001 to 2004, he was the CEO at Nanotron, Berlin, a wireless technology and system provider, and developed and implemented business models involving cutting-edge communications solutions in Europe, Asia and the US in such different market segments as building automation, security, enterprise networks and WLAN.
